Our VW Camper Holiday hire start and end on either a Monday or a Friday. You can collect your camper from 1pm on the first day of your hire and we ask for you to return the camper back to us by 10am on the last day, this allows us to fully clean and prepare the vans ready for the next hire.

There is a European Travel surcharge of £100 if you are going further afield than the UK. We charge this because of the insurance costs incurred by ourselves for you to be covered whilst overseas.

Comprehensive Insurance for the first driver is included (refer to our terms and conditions). Extra Drivers are charged at £40 (one off fee)

We take a security Deposit of £750.00 on the first day of your hire and provided you bring the vehicle back with no damage and a full tank of diesel, we will make a refund the next day.

HOW IT WORKS

MAKING YOUR BOOKING

You will need to email a copy of your photo card drivers’ licence along with two forms of proof of address. The name & address on your licence must match both documents.

Please check what documents are acceptable.

A 50% deposit payment (non-refundable) is to be paid at the time of making the booking, this will hold your camper for the dates selected. This can be done by bank transfer or card payment, details will be emailed to you with the booking form. If your hire period is less than 60 days in advance then full payment will need to be made including any extras at the time of booking.

If you need to cancel your booking, prior to paying the balance, your deposit cannot be returned. If possible, we will try and re-schedule your booking so you don't lose your deposit.

The final balance due for hire and all Optional Extras needs to be made at least 60 days before the hire commencement, we will send you an email highlighting the amount due a few days before to remind you.

Your security deposit of £750.00 will be taken on the first day of your hire and provided you bring the vehicle back in the same condition as when collected, we will make a refund the following day.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

You are welcome to bring your cycles with you. However, there would be no room for them inside the camper. We do have a purpose made rack that can hold 3 bikes that can be fitted to your camper, there is an extra charge of £50 for this and must be added at the time of booking.

A full tank of fuel is included when you collect your Camper, so we simply ask you to bring it back full on your return. 24 hr breakdown assistance is included.

Drivers must be over 24 years old, under 75 years old, and have held a UK driving license for at least 2 years. Full insurance is included but there is an excess of £750.

Our insurance allows two x 3 point convictions. We may still be able to hire to drivers with more points on their license although our insurers will apply an extra cost to you. Please contact us with details for us to get a costing for you.

You must have no more than one fault or outstanding accident/ claim/incident in the last 3 years.

In the event of any accident or damage to the camper, the hirer will be liable for the first £750.

Smoking is strictly prohibited in our Camper Vans. Charges will apply should any smell or evidence of smoking found in the vehicle.

Any part of the interior and cab area are your responsibility.

We do not provide cover for any personal items so it is the responsibility of the Hirer to provide their own insurance to cover personal effects, we would recommend travel/holiday insurance is purchased from a reputable company.

We have secure gated off the road parking for your car whilst you are away – this is at your own risk, of course.

Can I come and see a camper before I decide to book?

Yes, of course, you will just need to book an appointment to ensure we have a van available for you to come and view.

How old must I be to rent or drive a camper?

You must be 24 years old prior to collecting the vehicle or driving it.

Can more than one person drive the camper?

Yes, but this must be arranged in advance and an additional charge of £40 applies.

Can we go overseas?

Yes, but it needs to be booked in advance and there is an additional charge of £100.

What if we have a problem with the van?

We have breakdown cover in place and you will have a number to call us 24hrs a day if you need help. Call 00800 1330 3939

How do I pay?

An initial deposit of 50% is payable to secure the booking, then the balance is due 60 days prior to collection, along with the security deposit. Most major credit and debit cards are accepted.

Can I bring an appliance like a portable DVD player?

Yes, you have 240-volt power when connected to the mains supply at sites that offer the facility.

How many people can sleep in the van?

The camper sleeps four adults on its own.

Is there any heating to keep us warm?

Yes, our Campers are fully insulated and are fitted with an Webasto Night Heater.

Can we bring Bikes?

Yes, but you must use the bike rack which is available at an extra cost of £50.

Can we bring a dog?

Yes, well behaved dogs are welcome travel guests - there's an additional cost of £40.

What is the Mileage allowance?

The Mileage allowance is 840 miles per week or 120 miles per day for part-week rentals. Excess miles to be charged at 45p per mile thereafter.
